Główne kierunki badawcze:

Badania naukowe prowadzone w naszej Katedrze dotyczą głównie zagadnień struktury jądra atomu i reakcji jądrowych, teorii fazy skondensowanej, astrofizyki i fizyki Słońca, fizyki matematycznej i nanofizyki.

Współpraca:

O tym, że staliśmy się równoważnym partnerem w wymianie z zagranicą, może świadczyć to, że nasi zagraniczni współpracownicy przebywają u nas coraz dłużej i częściej. Musieliśmy w czasie ubiegłorocznego remontu wygospodarować osobny pokoik dla gości.

Inne:

Od 12 lat prowadzimy w Kazimierzu doroczne Warsztaty Fizyki Jądrowej, które powoli przekształcają się z imprezy ogólnopolskiej w międzynarodową konferencję. Materiały z ostatnich trzech Warsztatów w Kazimierzu zostały opublikowane w filadelfijskim czasopiśmie Int. Journ. Mod. Physics E, wydawanym przez Word-Scientific. Podobnie ma być z materiałami z XIII Warsztatów, które odbędą się tradycyjnie w końcu września.
